On arrival at Ellen’s Oasis in the tranquil area of Oyibi you’ll be greeted with freshly squeezed juices from locally grown fruits before beginning the demonstration. Enjoy the meal you’ve helped to prepare with a glass of wine or beer and take in the views of the Aburi mountains.
After a leisurely meal, we’ll play some Ghanaian themed games including old favourites like Oware, Ampe, and Monopoly – the Accra edition of course! Auntie Ellen will also provide you with digital recipe cards so that you can recreate her delicious and nutritious traditional recipes at home.
This experience can be booked as a day trip, or with an overnight, B&B stay at the gorgeous modern property.

Yes ! There are 6 double rooms – all en-suite – available at Ellen’s Oasis if you’d prefer an overnight experience. Rooms are from $90USD per night.
