Included in this experience is 2 yards of cotton fabric. This is enough fabric to make any of the items included in the package. Additional fabric can be purchased at the workshop if you wish.
With your freshly dyed fabric you can create your choice of a dress, blouse, men’s shirt, shorts, tablecloth or napkin set.
Any design you can dream up ! There are hundreds of different stamps at the workshop including over 60 Adinkra symbols and hundreds of other designs and patterns. Your dye colours will be custom mixed by the professional artisans.
We’ll have your finished products delivered to you in central Accra within one week. If you have time pressure or upcoming travel please indicate this on booking.
Children can take part in this activity if accompanied by a responsible adult. We’d recommend this for children aged 8+ due to the open vessels of dye and hot wax.
